Who We Are, The Vision, The Mission

Our Vision

Our Vision is a city-wide pryer initiative. At its core, revival is repentance and souls being brought into the kingdom of God. And the thing that has always preceded revival down through the ages is prayer. We believe that things happen when you pray that don’t happen when you don’t pray. We want to see the body of Christ in the city of Warren across denominations and beyond church walls pray the same thing every day for the lost in our city for 28 days.

As of 2021, there are 39,020 people listed as living in Warren, Ohio. As of January 9, 2024, there are 2700 churches registered with the city. If every person in Warren, Ohio decided to attend church this weekend, we still wouldn’t have enough seats for them. Why are we saying this? Because it’s not about building a church. It’s about advancing God’s kingdom, and it’s going to take the entire body of Christ working together to see that happen. And one way we can do that is to pray the same thing.

We do not want to build any man’s kingdom. We are here to see the kingdom of God advance. We are here to see lost souls become found by their Savior. We are here to see people who are bound in the kingdom of darkness brought into the kingdom of Light. So our commitment is for no names to be attached to this initiative. No person’s name. No pastor’s name. No church name. This is about God’s kingdom.

Can you imagine the impact if every believer in Warren united together in prayer, praying the same thing on the same day for all the lost in our city? We can already here the sound of revival! Can you? Will you join us?

The Mission

Starting on February 28, 2024, we will begin a city-wide prayer initiative that will bring the body of Christ together in unity, praying the same thing each day for the lost in our city. There is power in united prayer, and the exciting thing is we don’t have to all meet together in the same place at the same time to pray unitedly. All we really need to do is pray the same thing.

So that is what we intend to do. We will pray every day for 28 days from Love the Lost. The initiative will end the Tuesday before Easter, which is a prime time to invite all your lost friends and loved ones to church with you wherever you attend.

How will we pray together, you may ask? By praying through the devotional together on the same day. You will be able to receive the daily devotional with the prayer prompts right in your inbox, through a link on facebook, through coming to this website or by listening to the podcast.

The number one call of the church is to pray. Before Jesus ever told His disciples to Go ye, He told them to pray for laborers. Pray for the harvest. (Matthew 9:36-38) Let’s pray together for the harvest and see what God will do through it.
