The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
Isaiah 58:11 NLT
“But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
John 4:14 NLT
This scripture has been written on a little note card and has been tucked inside my bible for over ten years. I came across it during a season when I felt a little lost, a little alone, a little dry and forgotten, and it has been an encouragement to me ever since.
What His Word says about us is true, whether we feel like it or not.
Feel lost? He will guide you continually.
Feel dry? You are a well-watered garden and ever-flowing spring. You have a deep well in you that bubbles up with living water.
Feel weak? He restores your strength.
The only caveat is we need to stop agreeing with what we feel and begin agreeing with what His Word says about us. And the best way to do that is in prayer.
Let’s pray together.
Father, we pray for Your church in the city of Warren and for ourselves today. We agree with Your Word. Thank You for guiding us when we feel lost and strengthening us when we feel weak. Thank You for being in us a well of living water we can drink from whenever we want, and that well will never run dry because You can never run dry. Thank You for the power You have placed inside of us in the Holy Spirit. We choose to walk in it today. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
